You look out the viewscreen to your right. The reddish planet dominates your view, only a sliver of black space hovers above it. You tighten your grip on your joysticks; you’ve done this a dozen times, but it is never easy. Never routine. The reddish planet seems to change color on your screen, becoming brighter and redder with every passing moment. But the planet is not burning up. Your Mecha is. You grip even tighter. You know when you can see the flames, the shaking is about to start. Your comm speakers crackles. “Okay team, you know the drill. Rendezvous at the cave entrance. Cowboy, set up a perimeter. Deadeye, cover him. Highway, Boom-Boom, two-by-two formation … make a hole.” Your Mecha is vibrating fiercely now; the planet’s surface rushing towards you and … BAM! You’ve landed. You quickly check your Displays. All systems nominal. Your sensors automatically scan the cave ahead. Dozens of lifeform readings … and they’re all charging straight at you. You mutter, “There had better be some good loot in there…”, as you activate your onboard weapons. You grip even tighter.
You and up to three other adventurers must survive an onslaught of alien monsters in order to plunder ancient, alien treasure in the twisting tunnels of a strange world. Defeat all your opposition and exit the other side to win, basking in the glory of your pilfered artifacts. As a cooperative game, the players will either win or lose as a team.
— Play as the pilot of a fully customizable, 2-story-tall Mecha. Choose your frame, weapons, power core and accessories.
— Gritty gameplay. Intelligently manage your dwindling energy to savagely destroy enemies, blowing limbs off them as they rend parts off your Mecha. Your team’s tactics must be on-point if you’re going to escape alive.
— Explore random worlds. Every excursion is different; different twists and turns, different enemies, and different treasure.
— Fully cooperative. No odd-man-out has to play as the enemies, they will come at you with reckless abandon on their own, using an ingenious AI system. Each enemy has a combat style, but is never fully predictable.
— Challenging, yet fair. Playtested extensively by numerous hardcore gamers. Further refined through computer simulations and data modeling.
